Google Chrome contains most visited and apps section by default. Read this guide and learn how to create a new apps section in Google Chrome.
Google Chrome New Tab page contains two sections – “Most Visited” and “Apps section”. Most Visited section contains thumbnails of the site you frequently visit and this section is automatically generated, while the apps section contains the apps that are installed on Google Chrome. However, you can create your own apps section in Google Chrome with this guide. There are two ways to do this:
Step1 – Open New Tab and click “Most Visited” section. Drag the thumbnail of the website from “Most Visited” to “Apps section” during which you will see a arrow on the right side of the apps section. Drag to the arrow and release. A fresh apps section with the thumbnail you have dragged from most visited will be created. Repeat this trick to create as many as new apps section you want. But, the limitations are that you can’t add a same site to two app sections and your new apps section doesn’t display thumbnails, while it displays only favicon of the site.
Step2 – When you drag the thumbnail of the website you want, you will see a new apps section visible near the default apps section. Just drag the thumbnail to the new apps section and release. Your site will be added to the new apps section. Repeat this trick to add as many as apps section you want.

How to remove your created apps section?
Just remove all the sites you have stored in your apps section by dragging to Remove from Chrome which is in the bottom right corner. Then refresh the new tab page your created apps section will be removed. Another method is to right click the sites you have added in your created apps section and click remove from chrome.
